Introducing the Core members of the Project: Menglieva Elyanora

 

Ms. Elyanora Menglieva is from Termez, Uzbekistan. She has a BA and MA from the Uzbek State World Languages University and was awarded a Hornby Trust Educational Scholarship to study for an MA in TESOL at the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, in 2018. Ms. Menglieva has experience as an EFL teacher, a teacher-trainer, a curriculum developer. She has been working in local higher educational institutions: Uzbek State World Languages University, Tashkent State Law University, and Head Scientific and Methodological Center.

Ms. Menglieva has also been involved in prestigious international research projects with both the Erasmus Plus and the British Council. In 2020, she received Hornby Trust Alumni Award to develop a Handbook on Formative Assessment Practices, which aims to improve the current assessment practices of EFL teachers. Ms. Menglieva is interested in a range of teaching and learning issues, namely corpus linguistics, second language acquisition, pedagogies in ELT, ESP, EAP, materials development, teacher research.
